Highway 1 closures and reopenings — When Highway 1 shuts, when it opens, and when the gates move. Sent when it happens, which during a fire can be daily and the rest of the year is almost never.
Fire activity on the Big Sur coast — Fires burning on this coast: where the edge is, what is evacuated, what the satellite saw overnight. Only while something is burning.
What is open: fuel, food, lodging, campgrounds — Whether the fuel, food, lodging and campgrounds along the coast are open, closed or cut off. Occasional.
